Today,
rotor and stator lamination stacks stamping die are no longer made in the same
progressive as opposed to the traditional technology, where the inner diameter
portion of the stator laminations is used to stamp the rotor laminations. As a
result, it will be a great waste of raw material to make the stator stack as a
whole part in a progressive die.
To solve
this problem, the stator stack dies is designed into a segmentation structure.
That is to say, the stator stack is no longer stamped as a whole piece, but
equally divided into several pieces, generally speaking at kuroda chaoyng ,
from 30° to 60° segments around the contour.Such optimized stator design not
only reduces raw material consumption, but also increases motor efficiency and
power by improving space factor (the ratio of the volume occupied by the wire
in the winding) and thermal resistance
and increasing thermal efficiency. An increasing number of motor manufacturers
opt for stator segments for more compact and efficient motors.
